Bad Hair Gomovies,Definitely worth the watch. Gave me a new outlook on our culture. It’s some truth to this movie. All hair has a life/history of its own. I also love how Justin Simien allowed this story to take place in the 80’s. The 80’s was a time for a lot to evolve including black music and black hair. The 80’s also was a time where some black women were ashamed of their natural hair or they felt like they had to have certain look to get to what “they” have been trying to keep us away from for years.
